What is a Claude skill?
A skill is a packaged set of instructions and tools that extends what Claude can do — from writing tests to generating brand assets. This catalog helps you find trustworthy ones fast.
How do I install a skill?
Open any skill and run its git-clone command (it clones into ~/.claude/skills/, which Claude Code auto-discovers) or click Download ZIP and unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/ — or hand the folder to Claude and ask it to install. Plugins with a marketplace use “/plugin install …”.
How does the security check work?
The Skill Checker surfaces the signals we track for each skill — publisher provenance, open-source availability, known vulnerabilities, and maintenance recency — and flags prompt-injection and destructive patterns, so you can judge a skill before installing it. It runs in your browser.
Is my data sent anywhere?
Security scans run entirely in your browser — the skill content you paste or upload is never sent to our servers. Your account and billing are handled by our auth and payment providers.
How do I add my own skill?
Use the Submit page — it opens a pre-filled GitHub pull request. Approved skills are scanned and assigned a trust tier before they go live.
